“ Yum!!!! Being from rural Appalachia where Mexican restaurants are full of colorful decorations and tasty margaritas, I was happy to find this gem in Watertown Mass. As many folks discuss, the salsa was definitely on the thin side, but with some salt and plenty of chips it was great. The house margaritas were yummy paired with the ixtapa burrito (which was a huge serving!!!! So worth it). The servers were very friendly and helped explain the menu. This will be our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area from now on :) ”
“ Had a get together after work, food and drinks were great!!! Staff was great. For a Mexican restaurant they were playing country music which I thought was a little different but definitely something they should look into to. ”
“ Huge portions, amazing food, fantastic service!! Came here with 3 friends on a Friday afternoon and there were plenty of free seating. Our server was so friendly and accommodating, constantly making sure our chips, salsa, and water were replenished. We ordered 2 combos to share between the four of us and all left super full!! Before tip, the total was just over 36 dollars, a crazy deal for lunch for 4. The food quality was amazing too, super flavorful and cheesy. My favorite was the enchilada! ”
“ Loved the tacos mercado and good quality steak in the burrito. Really nice server who took care. Kids loved their food and want to return. Reasonably priced and comfortable. Too bad the salsa is a little thin. ”
“ DELICIOUS!!! I have only gotten takeout but it's always hot and ready. The nachos with chicken are great, nothing out of this world but very good and a large portion. Wonderful guacamole. The salsa has a lot of cilantro which is a personal dislike (I'm one of the weirdos that thinks cilantro tastes like soap.) The flautas with chicken entree is FANTASTIC! Seemed pricey to me but most Mexican entrees in the area are the same price. The portion is huge with lots of rice and refried beans and came with chips/salsa/guacamole on the side. The restaurant itself looks clean and cozy, what you'd expect from a Mexican place. Definitely recommend!! ”
“ The Tacos are amazing and I love the presentation! They put the rice and beans in a tiny taco shell bowl and it makes it a fun way to eat them. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are great! Parking around the venue can be a challenge on a busy day but after driving around I found some. Our waiter was nice and offered great suggestions, and also did a great job at checking in. The restaurant is clean and although I didn't sit at the bar it was nice to see how people were being served and it was nice that they played sports for sports lovers to both enjoy a meal and entertainment. ”
“ I was actually impressed with the offerings at the down-home restaurant in downtown Watertown. The chimichanga (deep-fried burrito) was nice, with proper texture on the barbacoa on the insides, and balanced with cheese. The chile relleno was also decent, though the batter surrounding the chile got a tad soggy from the liquid sauce, and there was too much cheese in the insides of the chile. Not sure that's how it was supposed to be. The beans were decent, and the rice was fluffy, with bits of braised celery and other spices on the inside. Worth checking out again! ”
